Our hallway sprung a leak.

Last night, while we were watching Superman Returns on dvd, we heard a tap-tap-tap of water dripping. I looked around with Elana until we found that water was coming off of our hallway light fixture.

Later the dripping moved to the doorframe of our bathroom. The upstairs neighbor was not home, but the manager was able to come over relatively quickly to get the water shut off.

The pipe that was busted was a vertical shower pipe. It will have to be replaced and the plumber will only be able to come on Monday. On the brightside, the tub is separate from the shower and ONLY the shower was shut off. So this weekend we are roughing it.
