Recently, my age has become a topic of discussion among people around me. I am one of the oldest students at the Yeshiva and despite teh fact that I know I am not old, it feels like it because the demographics of the community in which I am learning. My grey hair marks me as part of one of the generations that remembers the Reagan Administration, the Cold War and Max Headroom.
One of the students told me yesterday, "I want to be like you when I grow up." (I'm not sure what he was talking about I have a strong suspicion that it was a joke.)
Since when was 29 supposed to be 'old'?

40 is the new 30! 50 is the new 40! Or something like that. By all accounts, you're still a teenager =)
